NEW Polk County ARES Emergency Coordinator

Great news! Terry Edwards, WD5DAW, was just approved by the ARRL SETX Section Manager and District Emergency Coordinator to be our new Emergency Coordinator for Polk County.

Terry has already started taking some of the required online classes. Please understand and be patient since he is new to the role.

Terry, as the EC, will have the authority to appoint AECs (Assistant Emergency Coordinators). I know Robert has said he will assist Terry. He will need help from AECs for; Winlink (HINT Don Scneider), training, and even administration. You are more than welcome to contact him and say "I want to help any way I can!" I know he would appreciate it.
